With all the space you can make with z-guard, you can usually just swivel your leg and put the hook in too.

		<description>Thanks for the comments and feedback on my notes!  Really appreciate it.  I&#039;ve been pretty successful in stalling my opponent from the Z-Guard position but my biggest struggles have been getting underneath to the deep half guard and transitioning to the X-Guard.  I found the push / pull effect very insightful and will let you know how that goes!  

With this series on the half guard do you plan on showing some stuff from half butterfly position?  This is another position I struggle to get into from my half guard (Z-Guard).
