Hi Aesopian,
Hope the knee is all better by now. I sprained my knee last spring in the same manner you did. It was bent sideways, however I actually had a slight mcl tear. But a lot of good came out of it. I decided to rehab my knee by doing some kickboxing. Kickboxing lead me to try some bjj that was being taught in the building next door. Now bjj is a big part of my life.

But I was curious if you have the other videos posted in this series. You stated that there is 6 total correct? Deep half is a fun new position for me.

You've definitely mastered the knack of explaining things well. I appreciate the way you explain the reasons/principles behind the positioning, and show alternatives and what can happen while trying to apply a move and how to deal with the situations that come up.

I guess I'll have to try little pieces of things on the "smaller, weaker white belts" (as my instructor recently advised. I'd rather drill them, but it's hard to get drilling partners. It's not hard to get rolling partners, but no one gets up early on a Sunday morning to spend an extra morning on the mats drilling....

And BTW, welcome back, I assumed you had retired....
