Because they keep taking them down and putting them up I decided to drop the money on the movie. They currently have them in stock at budo videos but who know's how long. When I first decided to purchase it, it was out of stock for like 3 weeks. Anyways, I watching the Rubber Guard movie and there is also a pretty slick triangle by Javier Vazquez (the first one, there is another one I haven't seen yet). The Rubber Guard and the Javier Vazquez techniques seem to be the only ones in English, the rest is Japanese. You can gain some useful information but without a translation..you will miss some important details. Anyone know someone who can translate the DVD (and book for that matter) for us?

Mastering the Rubber Guard plus those videos and, like Aesop, catch a siminar or go to his school and workout a few times, then you will really be able to make sense of a lot of this. I'm going to have to donate major money to get Aesop to really flesh out the rubber guard book. Hell, we should make him put the entire book on DVD. Oh, also, I talked with Erich Krauss, one of the co-writers, when I was inquiring about the status of the books (turns out the number for victorybelt.com sent me to his cell; don't tell him I told you that). He said that along with this book and Mastering the Twister, they are looking into a Rubber Guard DVD as well for all us that really need motion. If it is anything like the videos posted, it will really be fantastic.

A lot of that is explained in his Mastering the Rubber Guard book as well. It's definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Wow, as someone who has only read Eddie's Jiujitsu Unleashed there is a ton in these videos that explains the "moves between the moves".
